Since 1984, Pfizer has been making
annual contributions to local graduates as part of its commitment
to education and to acknowledge innovation and excellence in science.
Pfizer Malaysia's Student Recognition Programme selects students based
on academic record, financial status, extra-curricular activities
and social behaviour. The panel that selects the recipients comprises
representatives from the university and the faculty the student is
in.
Deserving students who have benefited from this programme since its
inception include graduates from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti
Sains Malaysia, Universiti Malaya, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Universiti Sarawak Malaysia.
